About the Author
Rabbi Edward M. Feinstein is senior rabbi of Valley Beth Shalom in Encino, California. He serves on the faculty of the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies of the American Jewish University and the Wexner Heritage Program and teaches at the Shalom Hartman Institute. Rabbi Feinstein is the author of Tough Questions Jews Ask and editor of Jews and Judaism in the 21st Century, both National Jewish Book Award finalists. He lives in the San Fernando Valley with his wife, Rabbi Nina Bieber Feinstein, and their children, Yonah, Nessa, and Raffi. Every Friday afternoon he bakes brownies from a recipe revealed to his ancestors at Mount Sinai.

Inspiring..a must read...very enjoy
So smart, so wise and so fun. These tales contain all the folk wisdom you'd ever need to understand what it's like to be human.
This Rabbi is an amazing storyteller! These stories are great to just read yourself when you need some direction spiritually, and are easy to read aloud to groups of adults and children.
This book has a unique selection of very inspirational stories drawn from depths of Jewish Storytelling. It is a great guide for the whole family and has something for every occasion.
As a long time fan of Ed Feinstein, I was thrilled to see this book and to browse through its pages. Rabbi Feinstein does a great job of collecting some of the best Jewish stories around -- and rendering them in a "tellable" form. That would be good enough, but then he adds some leading questions after each story -- turning each reading experience into an educational experience as well. The best part is that story tellers will be able to use these stories -- and the questions -- in their own performance art.
