I am writing this review as a Beirut lover, after i visited this wonderful city last year. First of all, the photo on the cover is somehow misleading, as i was under the impression that at least part of the photos presented in this book would be a little unconventional, like the cover one. And the fact that many of the photographs were taken under a long exposure, the streets seem deserted, and give a feeling of ghost town. My point of view is that this book presents some beautiful, rather conventional, documentary photos. So my 3 star rating is because i was expecting something else.
What a delightful book! Am truly enjoying it!
