Fabulous inventory and photos. If you want to know what the stars looked like and what they wore, this is the book for you.

I was expecting western wear of the real working cowboy. This is a book about the flashy over done show biz type of western wear. If that is what you are interested in, this is the book for you.

I love looking at the old style western clothes with all the embroidery and sequins. This book did not disappoint me.

What a fun coffee table book with collections of western wear and items. The cowboys and cowgirls really razzle dazzled in these colorful clothes. The commentaries are quite interesting and amusing.

I already had the revised edition, but as a first edition fan I wanted this earlier hard cover edition. Though gently used it was exactly what I hoped it would be. Thanks!

Great Book!

The book has great photos of old western wear and I love getting ideas from books like this. Great to look at

Good for what it is, a nice picture book of Hollywood and entertainment-style, embroidered, beaded, and flashy western wear, but that's it. This is NOT a history of authentic western wear. I'll give it 4 stars for the quality of what it does present, but honestly would not have bought it had I not found it on a discount table for $5.00.
